Tatsumi Restaurante Japonês: Discover Fresh and Authentic Sushi in Albufeira

Very Good food and super nice staff. Food was delivered quick and we came here twice, as we were quite amazed. Totally recommend the Sushi.

We discovered Tatsumi-Thai Phuket by chance — and ended up coming back three times in three days! That should say everything. The food is absolutely incredible: fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether you’re in the mood for delicate sushi or comforting Thai dishes, every bite is a delight. The staff is warm, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, making it perfect for both a casual lunch or a special dinner. After trying several dishes across our visits, we can confidently say this is one of the best Japanese and Thai restaurants we’ve ever been to. Truly a hidden gem — we can’t wait to come back! Five stars, without hesitation.

We came here for Thai food but the sushi looked really good so we opted for that. It was really good, better than most high end sushi in the area. It’s expensive but the quality is there. There’s a few reviews reporting lack of service but at least from what I saw it’s because they’re very busy. The staff was hustling. We had been at the hospital all day and my baby was starving. One of the staff members brought him some noodles to help tide him over. I would definitely eat here again

We stayed in Albufeira for 3 days and ended up eating at Tatsumi every single day ! that’s how amazing it was! The food is absolutely incredible: fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The sushi was some of the best we’ve ever had, and each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail. From the chef’s special rolls to the perfectly crispy tempura and the flavorful hot dishes, everything was top quality. The service was just as impressive. The staff were welcoming, kind, and always attentive. You can really feel the passion and pride they put into both the food and the customer experience. The atmosphere is calm, and perfect for a relaxing evening. Tatsumi is hands down our favorite restaurant in Albufeira. If you’re a fan of Japanese cuisine, this place is an absolute must. We can’t wait to come back!

Best Thai food we have had in a while! We got two sushi rolls and chicken pad Thai and mango sticky rice for dessert. All of it was great. The waiter and waitress were very nice and readily available. Everything came out in a timely matter.

A superb Thai restaurant with a wide choice of dishes. Very helpful and friendly staff. I was told exactly which dishes they could make vegan for me. I ended up choosing a vegetarian pad Thai which was very filling and really tasty. My wife had a king prawn red curry and loved it. We fully intended to return to Tatsumi-Thai Phuket but unfortunately we ran out of days to fit it in. If you like Thai food you won't go wrong here.

We've been in top notch sushi restaurants all over the world and did not have high expectations. However, we were very pleasantly surprised! The sushi was fresh and of high quality, and we got a great wine recommendation. Not bad at all for a small town sushi place in the middle of tourist shops and bars! Highly recommend!
